ABOUT Coast & Country
As Coast & Country’s Founder and President, Page Smithers brings a unique combination of professionalism, insight and energy to the work she does on behalf of her clients. Her passion for her work shines through in countless ways as she helps her clients navigate the many challenges associated with estate management and downsizing. Page’s unrivaled work ethic and her commitment to excellence are obvious in every aspect of Coast & Country’s operations.
The inspiration for the Coast & Country name was the state of Virginia itself, and the areas that Page has called home. Born and raised in Tidewater, Page has had a lifelong
love for the beauty and bounty of Virginia’s coastal
region. Page currently resides in the rolling hills of
Loudoun County, the heart of Virginia's horse
country. Coast & Country pays homage to the
very best of Virginia.
Page is a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy
and Randolph Macon Womens College in Lynchburg.
THE FOUNDING OF COAST & COUNTRY
Page had worked in and around the antiques and collectibles business for many years, and was actively looking for ways to expand upon her talents. A fortuitous introduction to a seasoned veteran of the estate auction business provided Page with the opportunity to take over an existing operation that had been serving Virginia's Northern Neck for nearly 3 decades. Page's love of antiques and her passion for treasure hunting found the perfect outlet in Coast & Country.
After completing her training at the Southeastern School of Auctioneering,
Page took over the reins of the existing business and began her work in
building her own brand through both live an online auctions. Her belief
in the value of the service she provides to her clients is what drives Page
and her business forward, and she looks forward to serving the needs of
the estate sale and downsizing markets for many years to come.
